Jhosse Tolentino was struck multiple times by gunfire and killed, according to Mercer County Prosecutor Angelo J. Onofri.
At 6:56 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, Trenton police responded to a ShotSpotter notification reporting multiple shots fired near Lamberton and Federal streets, Onofri said.
Police found Tolentino in the driver’s seat of his parked gray 2010 Infiniti G37. The vehicle and Tolentino were each struck multiple times. Onofri said. Tolentino was taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, the prosecutor said.
No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
